AFFILIATES
Keeping in mind CIHA's goal of promoting independence through housing for its clients, CIHA also strives to become more independent as an organization. CIHA has created "social enterprise" organizations to expand services as well as create new funding mechanisms.
Cook Inlet Lending Center
Cook Inlet Lending Center, a 501 c(3) and community development finance institution, serves as CIHA's lending arm.
Our Relationship with CIRI
CIHA is one of five affiliated non-profit organizations of Cook Inlet Region Incorporated (CIRI), an Alaska Native Corporation with a mission of fostering the economic, social and cultural well-being of its shareholders and their descendants. CIHA is the tribally-designated housing entity (TDHE) for CIRI.
