Carol's Welcome

Dear Friends of Cook Inlet Housing Authority,
Welcome to our organization’s first ever public newsletter. We’re looking forward to this new opportunity to share what, in my clearly biased opinion, is some really ‘cool stuff’ that Cook Inlet Housing Authority is working on - with the invaluable assistance of our many partners.
As many of you are aware, I’m relatively new to CIHA. Thanks to the hard work, dedication and general creativity of an amazing staff, in the past three years we’ve completed our first ever family rental property - Strawberry Village Cottages - a detached, town-home style neighborhood. We’ve nearly completed Kenaitze Pointe, an incredibly beautiful 53-unit addition to our elder rental campus in Muldoon, and we just broke ground on an additional 40 units within the same complex. We’ve taken a good hard look at the programs we offer and made adjustments and additions to better serve our clients - and we’ve only just begun.
We’ve sent this to you either because you’ve requested it or because we believe you share our desire for a better community through the delivery of the best quality housing and related programs one can possibly offer.
I hope you’ll take the time to read this quarterly e-mail newsletter as it comes across your undoubtedly overflowing mailbox. We’ll try to keep the content brief and pertinent while offering a venue for sharing our latest projects, shedding light on important housing related issues, and most importantly, honoring our clients.
If the information contained in the newsletter just isn’t quite enough to satiate your interest in Cook Inlet Housing Authority current activities, visit our website for additional program information and event updates.
Thanks for sharing our journey,
Carol
