Environmental Legal Services
Cook Inlet Housing Authority (CIHA) is a state chartered Housing Authority primarily funded by the Department of Housing and Urban Development, with other State and private grant fund sources. CIHA is accepting written proposals from responsive and responsible individuals and firms to provide Environmental Legal Services
CIHA reserves the right to select one or more firms to assist CIHA as needed.
RFP packets will available for download at www.cookinlethousing.org.
Questions deadline: by May 28, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. Alaska time. Written questions received by the deadline will be answered by addendum to all vendors.
Proposal deadline: All proposals must be received at CIHA no later than June 5, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. Any proposals received after that time and date will be rejected.
Proposals must be mailed to CIHA at 3510 Spenard Road, Anchorage, Alaska 99503 or emailed to email@example.com by the deadline. Proposals received after this time shall not be accepted. It is the proposer’s responsibility to ensure its proposal is received at the specified location and time.
Preference. Preference will be given to Alaska Native/American Indian, Small-, Minority- and Women-owned businesses and Section 3 businesses. Alaska Native/American Indian, Small-, Minority- and Women-owned, and Section 3 businesses are encouraged to submit Proposals. Contractors requesting a preference must submit form HUD-5369-C with its proposal.
Equal Employment Opportunity. Except as otherwise provided under 41 CFR Part 60, all contracts that meet the definition of “federally assisted construction contract” in 41 CFR Part 60-1.3 must include the equal opportunity clause provided under 41 CFR 60-1.4(b), in accordance with Executive Order 11246, “Equal Employment Opportunity” (30 FR 12319, 12935, 3 CFR Part, 1964-1965 Comp., p. 339), as amended by Executive Order 11375, “Amending Executive Order 11246 Relating to Equal Employment Opportunity,” and implementing regulations at 41 CFR part 60, “Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs, Equal Employment Opportunity, Department of Labor.”
This Request for Proposal is not to be construed as a commitment of any kind nor does it commit CIHA to pay for any cost incurred in the submission of a proposal or any other incurred costs prior to the execution of a contract.
