Daily Transportation at Centennial Village
Free transportation is offered to the weekday lunch service, local retailers and special event field trips to all residents.

Mobile Food Pantry at Centennial Village
The Food Bank of Alaska partners with CIHA Resident Engagement to make various perishable foods available to residents and community members alike through a monthly Mobile Food Pantry. Residents take an active role by volunteering and providing workforce for these activities, benefiting both their neighbors and the community at large. Mobile Food Pantry takes place every third Wednesday of the month in the parking lot at Chickaloon Landing at 1:30 pm.
Computer Labs available at most rental locations
Computer labs offer residents access to computer stations free of charge. Residents are able to email distant family and friends, address online banking needs, conduct job searches, write resumes and pay utility bills.
Libraries (Centennial Village and Loussac Place)
Our libraries offer residents access to hundreds of book titles donated by various community members and businesses.
Centennial Village libraries (located in each building) also include an electronic media section housed at the main library at the Centennial Center.
Resident Volunteer Opportunities
There are several opportunities for residents to be engaged in their community through volunteer activities. We encourage residents to be active and engaged where they live. Please contact the Resident Engagement staff for more information. Call Liberty at 793-3738.
